Learning outcomes:

On successful completion of the studies, the student will be able to: - successfully apply the acquired techniques and skills of written translation into and from a foreign language in the areas of law and economics, and translate texts at a level which meets the needs of the market, - successfully apply the acquired techniques and skills of consecutive interpreting of short units of speech, into and from a foreign language, - successfully use the knowledge and skills needed to compete in the translation services market, abiding by the ethical and professional codes of conduct, - independently work in the area of translation and interpreting; - apply the necessary theoretical knowledge of linguistics and translation studies in research.
